Tiny, delicate things are often linked to femininity, their meticulous creation classified as mere craft. As a child, I found myself drawn to this world––carefully crafting miniature objects from household items that wouldn't be missed. Uninspired to paint on a large canvas, I dismissed the idea that I was creating art, perhaps internalizing how women are socially conditioned to make ourselves small, not take up too much space.

Yet in this exhibition, I reclaim space paradoxically through the small. I embrace my drive toward miniature work and the profound joy it brings. A scaled-down object offers a shift in perspective. There exists a unique state of imagination that tiny objects evoke—a return to childlike wonder and possibility. These fragile porcelain vases serve as vessels of insight, showcasing not just our physical scale but our capacity for care, attention, and presence in a world that often overlooks the small.
